This Spanish variety was introduced to California by one of Stanford's vineyard workers, Frederic Bioletti. He later became a famous Viticulture (grape) professor. Ours is a blend of Tempranillo and Graciano. It has a light ruby red color with ripe cherry, clove and vanilla aromas and flavors. Medium body and smooth tannins.
