Originally brought to Iberia (Spain) in the 12th century by Benedictine monks from the Cluny Abbey. It's name translates to "White of the Rine." Ours is crisp and tart with aromas of apricots, apples and lemons. There is also a hint of sweet butter. The flavors are of green apple and lemons with a crisp finish. It is dry but also fruit forward.
