Albariño is a Spanish variety with many stories of how it got there. Including a story of 12th century Benedictine monks whom brought it from the Rheingau in Germany, hence its name translating to the "White of the Rhine". Ours is crisp and tart with aromas and flavors of lemon, green apple and apricot. The wine is dry, crisp and full of bright citrous fruit flavors. It pairs beautifully with shellfish dishes.
