In honor of Fr. Thomas X. Davis, former Abbot and starter of New Clairvaux Vineyard, this wine is a blend of Vina Syrah and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It has layers of blackberry, black current, fresh oak and spicy black pepper, vanilla, clove and cinnamon. This dry wine with grippy tannins has a full body and a well balanced finish.
